I used a bag made of Japanese paper for a year, and here are the results...

I've been using a bag from our company's bag brand "WASHIKA," which uses Mino washi paper and genuine leather, for a whole year now.

As a craftsman, I've come to realize once again that Mino washi paper is truly an amazing material.

It won't tear. It's fine even when wet. The shape has become a little distorted, but that's actually a good thing.

Each time a wrinkle forms, the surface becomes softer, and now, every time I touch it, I feel a sense of relief.

I think this means the bag is "developing" over time.

I like it more today than the day I first started using it.

I wonder what it will look like from now on. Just thinking about that makes me want to take it with me again tomorrow.
